The Cause
The Atlanta Youth Academy (AYA) is a pre-K through eighth grade day school that is designed for urban children whose families believe in the importance of education but who do not have access, either financially or geographically, to excellent private schools. Located just 4 MINUTES south of the Atlanta Zoo where the median family income is less than $24K is a school that believes in Christian values and wonderful education. The parents whose children attend AYA believe in good education, which is why each family invests 8% of their household income as tuition. However, this only covers a small portion of the costs to educate these children. AYA must raise approximately 85% of their budget to run the school.
The Event
We welcome you to come out for the Second Annual CRE for AYA Softball Tournament, and support these 8 teams as they compete to raise money for the Atlanta Youth Academy!
With help from many in Atlanta's real estate industry, CRE for AYA was able to raise over $18,000 in the first annual tournament! This year we hope to reach our goal of $25,000.
Every dollar counts towards our goal, which will pay full tuition for 2 children, who otherwise would not have access to a top-tier education.
